Ask some folks which is their favorite coconut rum, and the answer might be “none”. Meticulously done, and objective to the goal. As a rum snob, it bothers me to hear when Bacardi proves to actually taste good. But the fact remains, and once again a winner. I’ve dragged me feet long enough – I’ll try it. Thanks also to the DIY addition to the perspective. My next infusion will be with pineapple. Perhaps I’ll infuse coconut in a bottle next to it.

Thanks, Jack! Since this was published, I received a bottle of Brinley’s Gold Coconut rum, and I am pleased to report it is better than the rest, albeit less widely distributed than most. I’ll get a review up soon and add an epilogue to this article. Cheers
